APS is a sponsor of the Just For Her Expo and will have a booth at the Expo. The Expo combines beauty, fashion and style, wellness, health, fitness, baby and kids. Something for everyone! This year the Expo is Friday May 21st from 5:00 – 10:00 pm and Saturday May 22nd from 10:00am – 5:00pm and is held at the Overland Park Convention Center. Dr. Cannova and Dr. Young will be making a presentation on the side stage Saturday May 22nd at 4:15. Dr. Cannova will be discussing the current trends in plastic surgery and Dr. Young will demonstrate dermal fillers. We hope to see you there!

Monday, May 10th, 2010May 6th through the 12th is National Nurses Week. APS would like to thank the 14 oustanding Registered Nurses that provide such excellent care to our patients. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful team of nurses.
We also would like to thank all of the nurses who provide care to our patients in the hopitals, surgery centers etc. Just last week I had a patient tell me how impeccable our staff of nurses are, as well as the staff at the facilities.

Update on Cosmetic Tax
Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009We are pleased to tell you that the tax on cosmetic procedures has been removed from the Senate Healthcare Reform bill. Members of the Senate heard from tens of thousands of people around the country who objected to the tax.
