Dr. Gutek receives award

Dr. Gutek received the Humanitarian Award for Service from the Medical Missions Foundation this last weekend at their Fifteenth Annual Art for the Children gala.  Medical Missions Foundation honored Dr. Gutek for his volunteer work during the nine mission trips he has went on.  Dr. Gutek has participated in mission trips to Romania, India and Ecuador.  Dr. Gutek has helped hundreds of children and their families by sharing his time and expertise on these trips.  “Medical mission trips are demanding and tiring but on the plane ride home you can’t help but start planning and thinking about your next mission” says Dr. Gutek.

There are no shortcuts to safe outcomes

This morning Good Morning America aired a story about buttocks injections in Philadelphia that lead to the death of a woman.  This woman had injections by an unlicensed person in a hotel room.  All plastic surgical procedures have risk, but for your safety and  for optimal results you should not cut cost by having unlicensed people inject unregulated substances into your body.  I recommend if you are looking to enhance or rejuvenate your appearance you use medical grade products such as Restylane, Juvederm or your own fat.  I also recommend you have the injection done by a board certified plastic surgeon.  To read the entire story from GMA click here.
